I stumbled upon '2Shy' by Shura when it was featured on BBC Sound of 2015 poll and Track of the Day on BBC Radio 1. It's a magical production from the London based singer/songwriter/producer that bewitches with its lyrically enriched synths and beats. The track evokes a nostalgic '80s vibes lured by Shura's soft melodies that are backed by synthesized hand claps that disclose her shyness to confess her love for a friend. I seem to find myself replaying this track over and over again. I think it's because it brings back memories of those high school days when I would moon over my crush and contemplate the courage to confess my love.

Kings | Years & Years

Every month I will be sharing with you guys my #STUMBLEOFTHEMONTH. As I'm always looking for new music to love, I also love sharing it with my friends. Therefore, I will be featuring tracks from emerging artists that catch my interest and this month's #STUMBLEOFTHEMONTH goes to London's newcomers Year & Years. I first heard their previous single 'Desire' late last year on BBC Radio 1, but it wasn't until the debut of 'King' that they genuinely caught my interest. 'King' has an infectious chorus heightened by soaring vocals with indie pop electronics that remind me of other Brits Disclosure and Clean Bandit. This synth pop trio are making distinctive dance music and have been named BBC Sound of 2015 as well as MTV Woodie Awards 2015 Artist to Watch. They are currently making headways at SXSW and will also be playing a few other shows in the U S of A. So if you like what you hear then make sure to keep an eye out for upcoming shows near you and the release of their debut album 'Communion' on June 6th.
